Just north of Milnet is the town of Westree, also a lumber town. It, too, was on the Canadian Northern Railroad line and was a busy milling town up to the 1960s. Like many other small railside mill towns, when the resource disappeared so did the town. The rail station closed soon after. Submitted by: Henry Chenoweth
