COMMENTS: From Phoenix take the US 60 east past Apache Junction. You will continue past Florence Junction about 4 or 5 miles. The road is on the south side of the US 60. The road is long and rough for about 20 miles, then it gets even worse. It gets pretty complicated from there. I would suggest a GPS unit for sure. REMAINS: The cabins and Martinez Mill. Columbia Mine is also just a little further up the road.

From the dates on the buildings, it looks like they were occupied in the 1940's. Submitted by: Jeff
