No residents. Get on Old Route 66 from I-40 and go 20 miles south. Bagdad is 20 miles west of Cadiz, 75 miles SE of Barstow, and Newberry Springs is 75 miles NW of Bagdad. REMAINS: A "BAGDAD" sign, cemetery, some broken glass, a tree, desert shrubs, and building foundations are all that remain of this once thriving desert town. |
