Highway 299 to Hawkins Bar, then north on Denny Rd. about 20 miles. Most house still inhabited. REMAINS: The last shoot-out in this town was in 1977. It lasted all night and resulted in 2 dead. |
| Denny was a mining area from the early days. After being worked out by white miners some Chinese worked it again. Then during the Great Depression miners returned to the claims.
