Site can be found on Hwy 78 between Ortona & Moore Haven at the corner of 78 and Wayman Road. Check out ghost towns Goodno & Hall City. LaBelle Heritage Museum is very interesting. REMAINS: Old School Foundations |
| Citrus Center was a settlement without a road. The only access to the town was a canal off the Caloosahatchee River. About 100 people lived there. Reportedly, at one time, Citrus Center had beautiful hotel. Today there is little there but a vast prairie.
