REMAINS: St. John's Catholic Church, Brenner winery
The land office was once here, and it was a busy town. In the 1800s, town lots were selling for $1500. The Catholic church, St. John's, is still there. The remains of the Brenner winery are also to be located. President Lincoln visited here in the early 1860s. Submitted by: Theresa Root
