COMMENTS: Large stone wall next to road. Everything else is on private land. No twon buildings remain inhdited but cabins and ranches are all along the road. SW of Bozeman take first exit past bear canyon exit heading east on I-90 from Bozeman
REMAINS: Stone foundations
This is an company town from the 20's. The town once had 5000 residence working the Storrs mine, and smelter. The town also had a hotel and many stores. The town declined when the mine didnt produce high grade ore. The mine closed and shortly after the smelter burned down under mysterious curcumstances. Submitted by: Mike Westereng
