BURSUM. Post office 1904/1905. Mail to ChlorideBURSUM TRAIL. Catron County. Runs from Mogolon to O bar O Ranger Station in Sw part of county. Named for Holm Bursum, US Senator from 1921 to 1924. It was broken trhough by the state with prison labor, then taken over by US fForest Service, and finished by CCC workmen at Willow Creek from 1936 to 1940. REMAINS: Inquire |
