Mail to beenham.Alvaro Garcia Holgado, the earliest Garcia of record in NM, came in the Onate period, and between 1598 and 1692 other Garcias came from Zacatecas, Mexico City, and Puebla. A cluster of these families NW of Belen gave the name Los Garcias, 'the Garcia folks' to the settlement in Valencia County; now North and South Garcia. REMAINS: Please inquire locally
