Stargo’s home was on Stargo Creek in Little Fish Lake Valley. The camp was formed in December of 1907 after gold, silver, and lead ore was discovered. But deposits of rich ore large enough to sustain a camp were not found and Stargo died as quickly as it had arisen. The camp vanished from all maps by 1910 and hardly a trace can be found today.
