NAME: Peak
COUNTY: Benton
CLIMATE: Rain most of the winter
Accessible year round
COMMENTS: No residents for a long time! Take US 20 west from Corvallis to Blodgett, just past Blodgett go south on Tum Tum road about 8 miles. Y intersection to the west takes you there. UPDATE: heads up the peak Oregon page directions are wrong to get there you need travel down highway 20 leaving philomath toward burnt woods then turn left at the burnt woods store on to burntwoods road then turn left onto shot-pouch rd keep going past mulkey cemetery to a y in the road stay to the left then at next y stay to the left again this rd is called woods creek rd at the next intersection you turn right then you keep going straight tell you get to these coordinates 44.5428978N, 123.5720504W and it should be on the left hand side of the road if its still there 4x4 vehicles like jeeps are strongly advised because all these roads are now steppe narrow logging roads PS: did not make it all the way there because i was in a car so im not sure if the remains are still their but i made it about 5 or 6 miles away but if you try going the way suggested by the peak oregon page you will get lost because the logging company has rerouted the roads out there and they are not updated on any GPS or Map website
REMAINS: Cemetery

I don't know too much other than the town was short lived. There are about ten graves in the graveyard. No buildings or anything other than the cemetary. Cemetary is about 100 yards off of road in clearing of forest. Look carefully! Submitted by Tim Smith.

UPDATE:Went to peak yesterday, made it without problem in a 2x4 Ranger, the GPS was off, when you get to where the gps takes you, if you go forward about 20 yards the road splits into 3 directions, you take the middle road and about another 20 yards up the middle road off the left hand side is a clear trail leading to the maintained Davidson Cemetery. It's not over grown or hard to find and the directions on your site make it seem like you need to stomp about in the brush for the remains of a headstone, and there are about 15-20 graves not 10. Thank you for the help finding it though!!!
