the top of Middle Canyon at Sun Shine Peak on a roar from Tooele,

| The site of the "Big Grove" a group giant trees (now extinct)that were logged in 1850's by Mormons to build Salt Lake. In 1863 Ogilvie,an apostate Mormon, 24 other Mormons and General Connor conspired to develope the mine against the wishes of Brigham Young. His disfavor caused the mining to cease. Later it was named and mined the Galena Mine. The Old Jordan Mine later developed and all owned by the USR&S.
