My selection for the best ghost town that is totally abandoned and in ruins is Old Hatchita, New Mexico. There are considerable ruins and spread wide out. It can easily take three hours to explore this site. At least this is the way it was in 1986 and 1989 when I made my visits there. Hope it is in the same condition.
