Attention internationally minded ghosttowners.

I'm currnetly researching for my MA which will look at
ghost towns in Australia. Here interest in dead and
dying towns is not quit the huge phenomenon it seems
to be in the US, but it's kind of getting popular.

Does anyone know whether there exist any good books
(or articles) about ghost towns in general, or about
the phenomenon of 'ghost-towning'? Or is most of the
literature about ghost towns centred on specific places?

Any help you could give me would be very much appreciated!
