Tombstones on the internet?

I am looking for any tombstone registry or listing on the internet. Does anyone know of any? I would like to find out if any relatives of mine are buried in any ghost towns and if there is a record of their date of death on a tombstone. I saw one a year or so, but don't have the foggiest idea how I got lucky and stumbled upon it.
