For those of you that do not already know about this site, the US Geological Survey maintains a web site for finding officially named sites throughout the country. This can be very useful for finding towns or other sites you may have heard of but do not know their location. Follow the link below to visit this site. It is called the Geographic Names Information System. Simply enter the name of the site and the state it may be in if you know. You'll retrieve a listing of all sites in that state with that name. Hope this helps you fellow ghosttowners.
