Have a question. Getting a tour of some historical sites
within the boundries of Ft. Irwin, (might add I'm a US Army
Officer). The officer taking me on the tour is going to
be taking me to area of the base (Far N/W corner of the base,
Granite Mtns)where a blacksmith shop and several old buildings
still stand today. Does anybody know what this place is called
and what its purpose was.
