Looking for directions on how to get to Panamint City. I'm interested in hiking to the site and want infomation on elevation, difficulty, etc. I'd like to take my Boy Scouts there to hike in, camp, explore and photograph the area. I hear about some vandalism at the parking area? Is this true? What can be done to prevent that? Any information would be greatly appreciated! If you can e-mail me with directions from So. California, that would be great.
