Is this the mine where the woman found an old pair of Levi jeans in 1948, took them home, washed, repaired, and wore them? Then later, sent them to the Levi Company in San Francisco where they ended up in the Strauss museum, which is now closed? I am very interested in this mine and how those old jeans might have gotten there. and would appreciate any information anyone might have. Thanks, R. Bourke
