We have done interviews in over 40 ghost towns and only one (BISBEE, AZ) claimed to have a ghost. The story was very interesting. The ghost lives in the antique store and is considered a friendly ghost. They sell a book there that outlines the ghosts history and activities. Although ghost town tracking is usually for those who enjoy visiting old towns for the history of it, the existence of ghosts always adds to the adventure. As for living in a ghost town, well, some ghost towns are still populated with folks. Like the town of Jerome, AZ. I wouldn't consider living up there scary; However, most ghost towns are un-occupied and the buildings are not livable so living there may be more uncomfortable then scary.
