I'm a friend of Chuck Flood's and too have visited thousands of sites throughout the western states. I'm a serious researcher and publisher, and am especially strong on CA, NV, OR, ID and MT. I just got back from Montana - didn't have enough time for much ghosttowning, but visited Elkhorn, Marysville, Bald Butte and Red Lion. Tried for German Gulch, but Pegasus mining seems to have it closed off.
