There is a semi-ghostown called Knights Ferry, located between Oakdale and Sonora California. A lot of the original buildings are still standing. and the town has quite a history. It was a supply point between Stockton and Sonora that supplied the Southern Mines. They have several activities each year. If you are ever in the area, stop by. Quite a few of the early settlers are buried in the cemetery.
