i live in winston-salem nc. and when you move here, you will notice that nc has traditions in their furniture, bar BQ ( excellent), geographic location, and ghost stories...would take me hours to explain. when you get to raleigh ask about the devils stomping ground,then the outer banks is located about 135 miles from raleigh and there is where BLACKBEARD the pirate was killed. there is a story of a woman who was killed in a car accident at a curve...there have been reports of several people who have wrecked because they spotted a person sitting in there backseat as soon as they make the turn in the curve.the mountains are rich in cherokee indian ghost stories....there are books about north carolina ghost stories. check them out and enjoy north carolina.
