Hello Mike,
If the weather permits when you get to Elko ask directions to Jarbridge, NV. It is in the
Ruby Mountains and was the site of a gold mine
owned and operated by Newmont Mining Corp. It has
wonerful hunting and fishing. I was there in 1976
and some of the old timers I knew when I was a child
were still living there. The mine closed in
1941 and yet a few people stayed. It is a living
ghost town. swinging door saloon, board sidewalks
very picturesque.
