: The rangers at Bodie will give you directions to 2 other ghosts in the area, Masonic, CA. northeast of Bodie, and Aurora, just over the nevada border. You'd do well to pick up the Forest Service map (Inyo-Mono counties), which are available at Bodie or Bridgeport. Although I have not been to the other 2 sites, I hear they are well the trip, and there are several other lesser known ghosts in the Aurora area, the conditions of which I do not know. The old stagecoach trails (Bodie to Carson City), ran all thru this area, suggest gt book and/or maps. Feel free to email me for more info.

DON'T FORGET THE MINING CAMP OF CHEMUNG. IT IS WEST OF MASONIC HIGHER UP. ITS BETWEEN BRIDGEPORT AND MASONIC AND CAN BE REACHED BY EITHER DIRECTIONS.
