The remains of Herron's Mills are located on private land. You must seek permission to visit from the house on the property (there is only one house, you can't miss it). REMAINS: Old mill buildings and mill works. An abandoned house. |

Founded in 1842 and remained in operation until 1950. For more information and pictures, please see: http://www.ghosttown.info/on/herrons/index.html Submitted by: H. Lai Herron's Mills was the site of milling operations beginning in 1842 and
is one of Ontario's more photogenic sites. The mill and several other
buildings sit vacant on the little trail, which was once the mill road.
