A new public research tool for historic and cultural resource preservation has just been launched online - www.preservationdirectory.com. We researched and categorized over 700 websites - in 78 different categories - from historic preservation, to museum resources and management, community & urban revitalization, roadside Americana and building restoration. Also, we list all online historical societies in the US, by state. For your marketing strategy, we offer mailing lists of historic and cultural resource organizations. Currently in 28 categories and totaling over 13,000 addresses, the lists are available for a reasonable fee through our secure server. In addition, we will soon offer an opportunity for historic and cultural resource organizations to advertise their services, publications and products. Our online bookstore contains the essential publications for historic and cultural resource preservation. We have created an online photo gallery of historic buildings, cultural objects/events, cities and regions, etc. - to be used by the public for research, school reports, architectural and artistic studies and for general historic interest. Send us your images and we will add them to the appropriate gallery.
