Copper Hill's post office was established June 18, 1908 and discontinued February 15, 1933. Copper Hill once had 500 residents serving nearby mines. Copper Hill had a school, hospital, stores, boardinghouses, offices, and more. The depression marked the end of this town and today all that remains are foundations. It's proximity to Globe probably accounts for the amount left of the town.
