REMAINS: Ruins of several adobe structures.Update:Just an update on Mineral Hill and Olive in SW Arizona, they are both fenced behind ASARCO fences in ruin, just like Silverbell.
Olive's post office was established on March 4, 1887 and discontinued May 23, 1892. Olive served many nearby mines but had no mill or smelter of its own. Ore was sent elsewhere to be processed and miners were paid with checks. Every Sunday afternoon, Olive Brown, for whom the town is named, treated the miners to a chicken diner of feasting and fun. As the price of silver dropped, mining switched to copper and the town declined.
