The store used to be owned by “Chubb” Newitt and the Adolf Guiraud ranch was homesteaded in 1863. The ranch happens to be one of the oldest in South Park. Adolf Guiraud apparently had been acquainted with the Reynolds Gang and let them stay the night. There was a school in Garo but it was moved to the South Park City Museum. Submitted by Jim Montoya |
