HALEY

NAME: Haley
COUNTY: Bowman
ROADS: 2WD
GRID: 1
CLIMATE: Warm summer, cold winter
BEST TIME TO VISIT: Any time but summer is best
COMMENTS: Haley is a tiny ghost town with one possible resident, and a church that appears to have an active congregation. You can reach Haley from Hwy 12, which begins at the town of Scranton, North Dakota. From there, it's a pleasant, scenic drive for about 20 miles before reaching Haley, which sits near the border with South Dakota.
REMAINS: Homes, bank, post office
I don't know the history of Haley, but as stated, it appears there may be at least one resident and an active Lutheran church. Submitted by: Justine Sadoff
