Little is known about Conner’s Station other than it is located on the old Ely-Pioche stage route. The station house and stables were built by the widow Conners who had been the cook at the Cannahan Ranch. The station was located at the top of 7,723-foot Connor Pass. Horse teams were switched here after the long haul up the mountain. Mrs. Conners prepared home0coocked meals for the travelers and lodging was available for $1.50 per night. When the Ely-Pioche stage stopped running, Conner’s Station was no longer needed. Only scattered rubble marks the site.
