GOODWIN

NAME: Goodwin
COUNTY: Eureka
ROADS: 2WD
GRID: 1
CLIMATE: Hot summer, cool winter.
BEST TIME TO VISIT: Anytime.
COMMENTS: Interesting country.
REMAINS: Rubble.

This site served as a stop for Pony Express riders and the Overland Stage. Riders often stopped to water their horses here before continuing on to the next water stop at Grubb’s Well. One small cabin was built at Goodwin and only a few old logs from that structure now mark the site.
