| Frazer was created by early settlers in what was then Greer Co Tx.. there was a "stage stand" there on the old Mobeete Trail..Frazer had a post office/subscription school/ the town was built on Bitter Creek..washed away in 1891/ residents moved to higher ground..(Altus, Ok)>(our g grandfather (Joe Cofer) helped settle this town, & later helped build Altus.
