CLIMATE: Hot summer, cold winter

Zincville first started under the name of St. Louis. This community was probably mainly employees of the St. Louis Smelting & Refining Co., one of the biggest mining companies in the Picher lead and zinc mining district. Today, hardly anything remains of Zincville. Submitted by: Steven McGinty
