The Twin Towns of Dravo and Stringtown were founded in the early 1800s. The towns' people mostly worked in the mines across the river. The towns survived until about the 1950's when local access road was washed out and the last residents left. The church that was next to the cementery burned down in the early 1900's. The fire was caused by a passing train. Submitted by: Jason Gilbert
