: What is the reasoning behind wanting to bulldoze Warm Springs? I thought all that land inside the Monument was protected. Can a park superintendant just arbitrarily decide to bulldoze a site. This is scarry if they have the authority to do something like that. My husband and I love to travel the back roads in the monument. We will do our bit to help!
Unfortunately, whether the park service really has the authority or not to bulldoze things, they do. There are many examples of this in Arizona such as Burro John, or Kentucks Cabin and more in the Bradshaw Mountains. Sure would like to know why they have that type of authority!
