Folks:

I was skiing the "Outback" at Keystone resort in Colorado the other day when I noticed a possible ghost town consisting of about four structures. It was quite distant across the valley, situated a coupla hundred feet below the summit of what has to be a fourteener, above treeline. It looks like three cabins and a mine rig, and I'm unsure of the direction from Keystone (I'm guessing N or NE). From my readings upon returning from skiing, my best guess is Rexford/Preston/Wild Irishman. Any suggestions? Also, I've just picked up on the ghost towning thing, live in Denver, and I'm looking for good sites in nearby counties (Gilpin, Clear creek, Boulder, etc.) to explore w/my dogs & girlfriend (you know, the ones w/o inhabitants and/or pesky landowners which still have a certain amount of charm/novelty). Thanks for the forum.
