Park City was a town built around a smelter constructed in 1881. The town had a population of around three hundred, a two story hotel, a school, a general store and several saloons. The smelter operated into the late 1890s and finally was closed. It was dismantled during the early 1900s as was the town, leaving only two houses of the original Park City. One is deserted and the other has been converted to a present-day residence. Courtesy Henry Chenoweth.
